We have found Deepak Taxi www.deepaktaxi.com provides a reliable, safe, airport pickup service with excellent drivers. The driver will meet you on arrival with a sign showing your name. It's always a good idea to purchase water for drinking prior to the 3 hr tax ride.
The fare as of Oct 2010 is 3000 Rs (approx A$70) for A'c car
Change money at the Airport prior to leaving the immigration hall.
It's a good idea to ask the driver to close all the windows and run the A'c - to keep the air reasonable.
Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb is the high season for the Osho Meditation Resort and it is wise to book your accomodation months ahead if you are planning to visit during these months.
Osho Guesthouse
The most convenient place to stay is the Osho Guesthouse which provides beautiful luxurious rooms right in the campus of the Osho Meditation Resort:
March-October A$80 approx single
and A$90 approx double occupancy.
Nov, Dec, Jan room rates will be more; also you may need to book well in advance for this period.
There are many less expensive hotels and rooms available for rent in Pune. It is defnitely best to be as close as possible to the Meditation Resort which is located in Koregoan Park. Following are some of our favourites:
